The Original Prova Designs started in 1991, with the dream of building the worlds best Countach Replica available anywhere ! Prova Motor Company has now been developing and producing affordable supercars with distinctive and individual character, for many years now . The British Prova Countach is constructed using the highest quality laser cut and jigged chassis and is precision welded by our time served craftsmen and specialists. The Prova as been brought into the 21 st century using the latest Audi engines and breaking systems. Our NEW Countach demonstrator will be running Audi Rs 5 450 bhp V8 naturally aspirated unit, mated to audi gear box and transmission system. We have commissioned custom made billeted machined uprights to take the Audi RS set up. Bodyshell options can produced in fibreglass. S glass or woven carbon fibre.

Our passion has led us to develop a range of upgrades and improvements that make the beautiful original more forgiving to use in the modern world. This approach has culminated in the development of the Lp 5000s being brought up to 2017 with the latest cutting edge technology. The engine of the based on the existing all-alloy 4.2 V8 from the Rs 5 and shares many parts, and Fuel Stratified Injection with the 4.2 FSI V8 engine in the Q7. The engine includes new cylinder block construction, and is a highly reworked, high-revving variant (redline at 8,000 rpm; rev limit of 8,250 rpm).

The engine has increased crankcase breathing, a low-pressure fuel return system and a baffled oil sump, to prevent engine lubricant cavitation at high engine speeds and high-G cornering. It has four valves per cylinder (instead of five on the earlier variant) and two overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank (so it is 'quad cam') and these are driven by roller chains with variable valve timing for both inlet and exhaust camshafts  along with a cast magnesium alloy fixed tract length intake manifold with adjustable tumble flaps (to improve low engine speed combustion). Based on a kerb weight of 1,098 kilograms (2,420 lb), this results in a power-to-weight ratio of around 552hp per ton.

A six-speed Getrag manual gearbox  is the only transmission available. The gear ratios are 1st: 3.667, 2nd: 2.211, 3rd: 1.520, 4th: 1.133, 5th: 0.919, 6th: 0.778.[5]

A testament to the beauty of the original countach we have added practical improvements including a more spacious interior, recirculating air-conditioning, a long-range fuel tank and of course our legendary attention to detail throughout.
